Why I'm Running (Again):

The past three years has been quite “educational” as one might expect. I believe I have grown as a trustee and will maintain a pragmatic mindset as I and my fellow Trustees collectively uphold the ideals that make our district such a strong and vibrant place to live and learn.

Children tend to do well when they can. They can only do so when their individual needs are being met. I will work to strengthen academic standards while ensuring equal access for students with unmet needs. As a member of the School Board I believe that I can act as a voice for those students and their families. With greater transparency and accountability more children will be better able to achieve equity with their peers.

I believe my experience running a small business will benefit the district and taxpayer alike as we tackle budgetary issues in a responsible and collaborative fashion. I pledge to be a thoughtful steward of our tax dollars while continuing to support Nyack’s renowned arts, sports, and extracurricular activities.
